Trichotomy

Trichotomy is an interactive sound and video installation combining three views of a live performance. Audience members are invited to perform one at a time in a private room while the processed feed is projected onto a 15' x 10' screen for the audience (and performer) to watch. By layering three points of view, the performer is able to 'interact' with their alternate selves. In addition, the movement of the performer and the stillness of the audience alters video decay and sound composition. Programmed using MAX/MSP/Jitter and MAKE controllers.
